The SRC Tear-Off Module recreates one of the most iconic motorsport interactions: pulling a visor tear-off.

Instead of relying on buttons or switches that are difficult to find while wearing a headset, this module lets you physically pull a tear-off, with each pull instantly registering as an input on your PC. The result is a far more immersive and natural experience, especially for VR sim racers.

How It Works

• A compact metal tear-off box mounts directly to your VR headset
• The box holds a stack of tear-offs (typically 10–20)
• Each tear-off is a small, realistic pull tab, representing only the part you would normally grab in real racing
• Every time a tear-off is pulled:
  • A mechanical switch is triggered
  • The action is registered as an input on your PC
• Tear-offs can be reinserted and reused for repeated sessions

This delivers a true physical interaction, not a simulated one.

Mounting Method

• Mounts using pre-applied 3M foam tape on the unit
• Includes additional double-sided tape for repositioning or replacement
• No drilling, brackets, or permanent modification required
• Compatible with most VR headsets and shell shapes
